De Uitdaging
Wilko Kuipers, e-commerce manager at Brunotti Europe, explains that after an inventory of tools, the brand decided to switch to Shopify. In addition to the transition to Shopify, the inventory revealed that the current email marketing tool (Hellodialog) did not meet their needs. The tool Brunotti was using did not offer the functionalities the e-commerce team was looking for, such as a direct integration with Shopify. As a result, the Brunotti team decided to search for another tool. This search led them to Klaviyo.
Wilko: “The plan was to set up Klaviyo ourselves, but just before our Shopify launch, we realized we couldn’t do the setup quickly on our own. The Klaviyo setup and integration with Shopify needed to be done correctly from the start by a party with expertise.” That’s when Brunotti quickly got in touch with Polaris Growth.
Polaris Growth then fully set up the Klaviyo account for Brunotti. Wilko: “We had already started setting up the account ourselves, but we soon realized it was too much work and too complex for a team without experience with the tool. We were also under time pressure to go live on time, and Polaris Growth was able to respond well to that by setting up the account and building the email flows on very short notice.”
According to Wilko, the collaboration went very well. Wilko: “Compared to other partners we work with, everything with you was very clear. Even the intake process, for example, was very structured.” By asking questions about the brand’s tone of voice and branding during the intake, it was possible to have everything finalized in a short amount of time.

The result of the collaboration? Brunotti now has a well-configured Klaviyo account with multiple automated flows running. According to Wilko, Klaviyo is a major improvement compared to the previous system they were using.
Brunotti went live with the new system in September and especially noticed early on that the flows were actually generating revenue. Now, after a few months, the flows are performing slightly below benchmarks, so this is the next step that Polaris Growth and Brunotti are working on together. Looking back on the collaboration, Wilko says he would definitely recommend working with Polaris Growth to others.
“The experience has been very positive. Our entire internal team had a really good feeling about how the whole process went.” When asked if there will be a follow-up to the collaboration, Wilko says: “That’s definitely the intention. We’re currently discussing the next phase of working together.”
