Indisha started with my personal search for pure cosmetics brands. It turned out that finding these brands wasn’t easy. If that was the case for me, it would surely be the same for many others like me – people with busy jobs, limited time, conscious lifestyles, an interest in organic products, but also a desire for luxurious, effective products.
I actually enjoy analyzing ingredient lists to check whether a product is truly pure, but I realize that's a bit of a quirk – most people simply don’t have the time or desire to do that. Because I believe everyone deserves access to healthy, beautiful, organic cosmetic products – without having to go through the time-consuming search I did for each one – I left my successful career as an independent marketing specialist.
And I created INDISHA, pure cosmetics & co: a welcoming, warm space offering the most beautiful and truly pure cosmetic products in the world.

De Uitdaging
Indisha grew by more than 100% online last year. That was a great step forward, but the conversion rate had dropped — and we knew it could be better.
You can pour a lot of money into Google and other marketing channels, but if your conversion rate is too low, you're essentially wasting a large part of your budget.
It's like mopping the floor while the tap is still running. We're working — happily — with a marketing agency for our performance campaigns. However, conversion wasn't a core expertise of that agency. Omar had given a talk on conversion optimization, and after the session, I reached out to him to explore what might be possible.
We started by setting up Klaviyo. What stood out to me in the first phase of our collaboration was that Polaris Growth immediately took a strategic look at the webshop as well. These are things you might already know, but don’t always actively think about. Polaris Growth is a great sparring partner for me, especially because I do a lot myself. With a quick analysis, they cut straight through the challenges. This means we can move fast with execution and implementation — not just words, but real action. A lot has been accomplished in a short amount of time.

I'm very happy with the collaboration. That's also why I decided to enter into a growth partnership with Polaris. Polaris Growth is a sparring partner that thinks along, is honest and direct — and that’s something you can build on. The team is open to questions and feedback, which I really appreciate. What I also like is their strong strategic approach. My Facebook/Google agency is more focused on tactics, while Polaris Growth really excels in strategy.
At the time of this interview, we’re still in the process of implementing changes. The overall revenue hasn’t increased yet compared to the period before we started working together (although YTD there is growth). That could also be due to the holiday season. I am, however, seeing a rise in purchases from returning customers. The average order value has also gone up.
Overall revenue hasn’t grown yet, but that’s partly because there are still a few things on my end that I need to follow through on. The webshop itself looks much better now, so it’s clear that real progress is being made.
